Berawal dari rasa penasaran dan males setiap kali buka ubuntu harus mount drive windows terlebih dahulu sebelum bisa melihat atau memakai isi dalam drive tersebut......setelah lama mencari ....tapi gak tw nyari kemana.....dan akhirnya ketemu satu artikel yang cukup membantu......
kalo pengen supaya drivenya bisa di mount otomatis silakan ikuti cara berikut ini:

Pertama
Biasanya mounting partition memerlukan privilege root, jadi mulailah dengan login sbg root (hint: su -). Jika sudah jadi root ketik perintah berikut:

bikin folder untuk tempat ngemount

#mkdir /media/System #tempat ngemount drive C
#mkdir /media/Data #tempat ngemount drive D

Kemudian ketik code ini

: # fdisk -l

Perintah itu untuk me-list semua partisi IDE/SCSI disk di mesin anda. Misal outputnya semacam ini:

    /dev/sda1  NTFS
 /dev/sda5  FAT32
 /dev/sda6  Linux
 /dev/sda7  Linux swap

Hampir pasti bahwa sda1 adalah drive C: dan sda5 adalah drive D:. Sekarang anda ingin memount sda1 dan sda5 (partisi windows anda), perintahnya adalah:

# mount /dev/sda1 /media/System -oumask=000

Direktori /media/System sudah harus anda buat sebelumnya. Begitu juga untuk sda5:

: # mount /dev/sda5 /media/Data -oumask=000

Untuk meng-umount:

Make Local Repository in UBUNTU

Ubuntu DVD Repository berisi repositori lengkap yang dimasukkan ke dalam beberapa DVD. Pembuatan repositori lokal pada dasarnya dilakukan dengan cara menyalin berkas-berkas yang ada pada setiap DVD ke dalam harddisk. Namun ada beberapa hal lain yang perlu Anda lakukan agar proses penggabungan repositori (dari beberapa DVD ke harddisk) dapat dilakukan sampai tuntas.

Hal yang harus Anda persiapkan adalah sebagai berikut.

Ruang kosong pada harddisk sekitar 12 sampai 20 GB.
Repositori DVD Ubuntu.

Perhatian: Tutorial ini dibuat berdasarkan repositori DVD Ubuntu 6.06 yang terdiri dari 3 buah DVD. DVD pertama berisi komponen main, restricted, dan multiverse; sedangkan dua DVD lainnya berisi komponen universe. Beberapa penyesuaian mungkin perlu Anda lakukan jika Anda ingin membuat repositori lokal dari repositori DVD yang lain.

Menyalin isi DVD

Berikut ini adalah hal yang harus Anda lakukan untuk menyalin isi DVD.

Siapkan direktori untuk repositori, misalnya di /home/goesmvn/ubuntu/.

cd /home/goesmvn mkdir ubuntu
Masukkan DVD lalu mount DVD tersebutmount /cdrom
Salin isi DVDrsync -avx --progress /cdrom/. /home/goesmvn/ubuntu/.
Lakukan langkah 2 dan 3 untuk setiap DVD yang ada.

Mengaktifkan Repositori Lokal Untuk Komputer Sendiri

Nah setelah acara salin-menyalin selesai sekarang kita bisa langsung gunakan repositori yang sudah kita buat tersebut. caranya sanga gampang anda ikuti saja langkah2 berikut ini

1. Masuk ke terminal dan ketikan "vim /etc/apt/sources.list"
2. Edit sources list yang ada, anda bisa menghapus alamat reositori yang lain apabila anda tidak membutuhkannya, caranya tunggal tekan "D" jangan di lepas sampai selesai menghapus,
3. Menambahkan alamat repositori yang sudah kita buat sebelumnya, anda bisa saja langsung menambahkan baris ini "deb file:///home/goesmvn/ubuntu hardy main multiverse universe restricted" NB: tekan "i" atau "insert" supaya bisa menambahkan baris tersebut.
4. Simpan hasil editan anda dengan menekan "ESC" terlebih dahulu dan ":wq" untuk menyimpan.
5. Selanjutnya ketikan "sudo apt-get update" untuk mengupdate sources listnya
6. silakan instal software yang anda inginkan..........

Mengaktifkan Repositori Lokal, Supaya Bisa di Akses Dari Komputer lain

Setelah Anda mendapatkan salinan repositori, Anda perlu membuat agar respositori tersebut dapat diakses oleh orang lain, misalnya melalui sebuah web server. Berikut ini adalah hal yang harus Anda lakukan.

Lakukan instalasi web server kesayangan Anda, misalnya Apache 2.apt-get install apache2-mpm-prefork
Pindahkan direktori repositori agar dapat diakses oleh web server. Direktori root dari Apache 2 pada Ubuntu terletak pada /var/www/ sehingga direktori repositori perlu diletakkan di dalamnya. Karena direktori /var/www/ dimiliki oleh root, maka sudo perlu digunakan.

sudo mv /home/goesmvn/ubuntu /var/www/ubuntu

Menggunakan Repositori Lokal

Setelah repositori lokal sudah siap digunakan, maka Anda hanya perlu mengatur setiap komputer yang ada agar menggunakan repositori tersebut. Gunakan synaptic untuk mengubah daftar repositori atau Anda dapat langsung mengubah berkas /etc/apt/sources.list. Berikut ini adalah data pada berkas /etc/apt/sources.list agar repositori lokal Anda digunakan oleh sistem.

deb http://alamat.server.anda/ubuntu hardy main restricted universe multiverse

Silakan update sistem Anda dengan "sudo apt-get update" atau klik tombol Reload pada synaptic.

Setelah itu, selamat bersenang-senang!

Beberapa fitur yang dimiliki antara lain, memiliki interface yang mudah digunakan, tidak memerlukan kompilasi di client, bersifat ringan, mendukung berbagai macam varian tarif warnet, minim penggunaan bandwidth, dan dapat diakses dari beragam desktop manager (tidak tergantung pada satu macam distro linux tertentu).
